Anti- Ragging Committee A.Y. 2025-2026

Ragging in any form is a criminal offence and strictly prohibited inside the Institute. As per the directives of Hon. Supreme Court, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Govt of Maharashtra, strict are recommended against the concerned students for indulging and abetting ragging. Whosoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institution shall on conviction, be punished as per the rules.

Objectives of Committee:

All the students should wear their ID Cards while they are in the campus and their respective class rooms.
In case of any violation of dress code or disturbance in the class, the ID card will be confiscated from the student which will be handed over to the student on the same day with a warning and advice from the Disciplinary Committee Members.
In case of any misbehaviour or violation of the college rules, the ID cards of the students will be kept with the Disciplinary Committee Members till the enquiry is over.
To enforce total prohibition of cell phone usage by the students in the classroom.
To monitor the movement of the students in the college and prevent students loitering around in the corridors during the college working hours.
To ensure that students maintain complete silence in the library.
To maintain proper discipline in the college canteen and student waiting room during the college working hours.
If any damage is caused to the college property by any student / group of students, the cost of the same will be recovered with a fine from the said student / group of this will be followed by disciplinary action.
If any indiscipline is found by any of the students, warn them on the first instance. Take disciplinary action based on the rules and regulations of the committee, if the pattern of misconduct continues.

Dress, Behaviour & General Discipline for Students

1. The college expects the students to maintain high standards of discipline, ideal behaviour and dress codes to keep up the reputation of our institution.
2. Dress Code:- Girls & Boys: - Blue jeans and College T-shirt Boys and Girls are not allowed 3/4 jeans, shorts, torn or any type of fancy jeans.
Boys must keep their pants pulled up and use a belt if necessary. 3. All the students should wear their ID Cards while they are in the campus and their respective class rooms
4. In case of any violation of dress code or disturbance in the class, the ID card will be confiscated from the student which will be handed over to the student on the same day with a warning and advice from the Disciplinary Committee Members.
5. No student shall enter and leave the class without the permission of the teacher.
6. Students are strictly prohibited from loitering on the veranda and corridors during working hours.
7. Students shall handle the college properties with care and keep the surroundings clean and healthy.
8. Students shall not impair college walls, furniture, etc. with writing or engravings. Those indulging in such activities shall be fined.
9. Tobacco of any kind or smoking are strictly prohibited in the campus.
10. Keeping and using alcohol or drugs of any kind in the campus shall be an offence and offenders shall be seriously dealt with.
11. Complaints, if any, may be lodged in writing through proper channels.
12. Political activities are strictly prohibited on the college campus.
13. Ragging of any kind is prohibited on campus. If found, strict action will be taken by the college Anti Ragging Committee.
14. Students should follow all Covid-19 Guidelines in the campus as per instructed by the Institute.

Objectives:

To provide smooth organizational frame work to resolve grievances of Students, staff and other stake holders.

To advise stake holders to respect the right and dignity of one another and not to behave in a vindictive manner toward any of them towards any reason and to ensure the grievances and resolve them promptly, neutrally and in complete confidentially

Functions:

The received complaints of students and redressal of grievance of students. The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievance from students
This committee will deal with all the grievance directly which are related to the common problems of Institute level both Academic and Administrative. In addition this committee will also entertain the appeal filed by student against the decision of the Principal/ Register.
The Committee will review all the cases and will act accordingly.
The Committee will give report to the authority about the cases attended and the number of pending cases. If any which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities
